- REVERSE OSMOSIS SYSTEMS AND HOW THEY WORK
- RO Systems remove sediments and chlorine from the water with a prefilter before it forces water through a semipermeable membrane to remove dissolved solids.
- After water exits the RO membrane, it passes through the postfilter to clean the drinking water before it enters a dedicated faucet.
- RO Systems have different stages depending on their number of prefilters and post-filters.
THE DIFFERENT STAGES
- The RO membrane is the main element of a Reverse Osmosis System
- The RO system includes various types of filtration.
- RO systems are made up of three, four or 5 stages of filtration.
- Every RO system contains a sediment filter and a carbon filter in addition to the RO membrane.
- The filters consist out of prefilters or post-filters, depending on whether water passes through them before or after it passes through the RO membrane.
EACH RO SYSTEM INCLUDES ONE OR MORE OF THE FOLLOWING FILTERS:
Your Sediment filter: Reduces particles such as dirt, dust, and rust
Your Carbon filter: Reduces (VOCs) known as volatile organic compounds, chlorine, and contaminants that give water a bad taste, odor or colour.
Your Semi-permeable membrane: This filter removes up to 98% of your (TDS) total dissolved solidsPRICE:Complete system undercounted fitted from R3600.(Please note our price includes labour and installation.)We also specialize in repairs on any make of RO system From R350.To request a service/quote, please get in contact with us and we will get back to you.AREAS WE ARE CURRENTLY SERVICING:Areas we currently operate in include BUT not exclusive to…Gauteng, West Rand, Johannesburg, North West, Vaal triangle, Pretoria, Delmas, Secunda, Middelburg, Witbank, and surrounding areas.
